Reverso

I'm attaching a link to a dictionary/translation site that I've been finding increasingly useful. In the past, I haven't been too keen on machine translation because the translations are often faulty. After all, a computer or a program can't think, doesn't have emotions or a cultural history like a human being. Yet, it's a place to start. You can type in your English sentence and click on translate. Even more useful is the "context" feature. When you click on "context" you get many real-life examples of sentences drawn from the francophone world that have been translated into English. You can even hear them in a genuine French accent by clicking on the symbol of the speaker. Go ahead and play with it. Enjoy.
