The mark for reading will once again be determined by an objective evaluation which measures students' accuracy in decoding the text as well as their comprehension. A number of factors are taken into account: knowledge of phonetics, good pronunciation and intonation, ability to recount facts and events and to make predictions and draw inferences. Here are the levels that our Board has set:
Level 1: 6-9
Level 2: 10-13
Level 3: 14-17
Level 4: 18 +
